The following information is meant to answer many of the questions you might have before selecting a private investigator to assist you with your missing persons case.

QUESTIONS:

What is the success rate of locating a missing loved one?

Many of my prospective clientele want to know the success rate of my previous missing person cases and findings. While my success rate is approximately 85%, this is based solely on the organized aggressive efforts between my client, family members and myself. In addition, for myself, the personal accomplishment is the reunification of a mother and daughter or father and son.

How long does it take to investigate and finalize a missing persons case?

While my caseloads are high, I am careful not to manage so many that I neglect each of my clients. The case usually will be solved or completed between 6-8 weeks. The first time saving step is to fill out our missing persons form to provide us with bibliographical information on the missing person in question.

How do you determine if you will take the case?

Acceptance of the case shall be determined by our initial telephone conversation and a short chronology prepared by the prospective client. Cases will only be accepted if the “at risk” factors mentioned previously are involved in their disappearance.

What are your travel parameters?

My clients' cases have taken my investigations all over the world. Before I began receiving recommendations from The National Missing Childrens Organization (NMCO), I had completed cases that required extensive overseas investigations. All cases are logistically planned according to the city and location.

COSTS:
.

What are your rates?

At the initial phone conversation I will typically discuss objectives of the case and the rates. The rates currently are broken down into two phases of the missing persons investigation, in addition to finders fee costs (see below).

PHASE ONE may include the following: review of client information and current evidence derived from the police and client; the acquisition and reviewing of personal records of the subject missing person; a missing persons biographical analysis; telephone interviews and client communication. PHASE ONE rate is a $500.00 flat fee and the client should present a short chronology of the subject matter leading up to the disappearance.

PHASE TWO if necessary involves the following: comprehensive field interviews; media and police relations; missing person flyer distribution; additional analysis of the case and furtherance of leads that may transpire during the field investigation of a missing persons case. PHASE TWO, or the field investigation,
is $650.00 per day (includes labor, meals, rental vehicle) Client must pre-pay flight arrangements and estimated hotel costs.

FINDERS FEE. PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED IF:
1. The loved one is located.

2. The loved one is located, but deceased.
3. The loved one is does not want communication with the client.
4. The loved one is located because of investigative techniques used by the investigator for the investigation. For example, flyers, witnesses, informants, or records accessed or other materials utilized, and these subsequently produced successes in locating the subject.
