Veronica Hawkins

Veronica Hawkins is the Executive Assistant for Lauth Instigations International: Return Assets Division. After earning her degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in Crime Scene Investigation from Scottsdale Community College, she found positions that put her in position to help people in life through various avenues. She has a strong desire to help others and finds it very fulfilling when she gets to be apart of that process. She is proud to work for Lauth Investigations because we make a difference by providing something to those that never knew what they were missing!

Outside of work, she has two wonderful children. One 15 and the other is 3. She also has 5 cats (by accident) and a bearded dragon. When not working, she enjoys writing, painting, drawing, running, and taking hikes among other things!

Susie Sanford

Susie is the Claims Account Manager at Lauth Investigations International, Inc. She graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She has worked in the legal field for the past 15 years, changing career paths to join the LII Team. She believes customer service takes priority and has a passion for helping others. Working with the Return Assets Division, she thrives on helping individuals claim what is rightfully theirs.

Susie currently resides in Arizona with her husband, two cats and dozens of chickens. She enjoys everything Arizona has to offer; hiking, camping and the dry heat.

Kurt Miller

Kurt Miller

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kurt Miller studied Political Science and the German language at Wabash College before attending the Robert H. McKinney School of Law as a Wabash Law Fellow. Graduating law school in May of 2020 and subsequently passing the summer bar exam, Kurt’s legal practice began at the Indiana Office of the Attorney General where he completed their Intensive Deputy Attorney General program before receiving assignment to the Advisory Division where he counseled numerous state boards and agencies. Following two years of service to the state, Kurt joined Lauth Investigations International, Inc. as General Counsel.

Kurt is a homeowner and active urban farmer in downtown Indianapolis. Kurt enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving whenever possible, and writing poetry. Recently, Kurt has taken on the task of helping maintain the Miller family farm in Muncie, Indiana which was founded by Kurt’s great-grandfather in 1915. Additionally, Kurt takes his civic associations seriously: he is a twenty-two year member of the Indianapolis Coin Club, a member of the Columbia Club, a member of the Sons of the American Revolutionary War, a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and a graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum.

Susan Thompson

Susan Thompson is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Community History, with a particular interest in Wales and in early Southern US migration. She has been creatively hunting down ancestors since the age of 10 and took that childhood passion into her professional career . Always thinking outside the box.

With her combined 5 years as a client manager in the heir search industry, as well as her genealogical research experience, Susan brings a unique combination of understanding the probate process. She is able to explain and help the heirs through the probate process.

Susan enjoys spending time with her family in Florida, creative writing, live musical performances and watching college and professional football (Go 49ers!).

Heather Lilly

Heather Lilly is a probate researcher, she enjoys finding that needle in a haystack when it comes to probate research.

Outside of work loves spending time with her family.
